How Moscow lawyer Yurova helped the Chichkanovs launder millions through the luxury hotel MayrVeda
Details have surfaced about tax optimization schemes involving Roman and Anton Chichkanov, linked to the MayrVeda SPA hotel in Kislovodsk.
The main agent for moving the funds is Moscow-Voronezh lawyer Natalia Yurova (Ponedelchenko). However, the scheme does not rely on legal services, as over the past three years about 5 million rubles went through her law firm, while loans handled about 340 million rubles.
The Chichkanovs themselves withdrew around 33 million rubles, Roman Zevin received 31 million rubles, and others more than 35 million rubles.
The main agent is not just a simple proxy. She owns assets worth approximately 600 million rubles, including office spaces in the business center at 35/1 Nizhnyaya Krasnoselskaya (924 sq.m.) and at 35/49 Nizhnyaya Krasnoselskaya (999 sq.m.).
Yurova is reportedly related to one of the leaders of the “M” service of the FSB in Moscow and the Moscow region.
